It also shrinks the app by no longer bundling Talk assets into every entry point, and moves the build to electron-forge v8 with Talk pulled as an npm dependency. v2.3.2 had brought Talk v25 stable and fixed an E2EE call regression and Windows ARM64 crashes.

◆ Current state
The tracked feed for coturn, the open-source TURN/STUN server, is Docker image releases: 4.16.0, 4.17.0, 4.17.1, 4.17.2 and 4.18.0 between late July and early September 2026. Each is published to Docker Hub, GitHub Container Registry and Quay.io, and the release notes here point to the upstream changelog without listing changes.
◆ Where it's heading
The cadence picked up: three minor versions (4.16, 4.17, 4.18) landed in about six weeks, with two same-day patch images for 4.17. The project keeps container packaging in lockstep with upstream releases, which matters to operators running TURN for WebRTC in containers.
◆ Prediction
A 4.18.x patch image or a 4.19.0 release is the likely next entry, following the observed roughly two-to-four-week rhythm; the feature content is not visible from these entries.

◆ Current state

◆ Where it's heading
With Talk v25 stable, the desktop app has shifted from tracking a major release to polishing it: accessibility, window behaviour and package size. The build changes make it easier to follow Talk server point releases quickly, and the earlier managed-configuration work (Windows GPO, macOS defaults) shows continued attention to enterprise deployment.
◆ Prediction
Expect more frequent v2.3.x builds that bump bundled Talk v25 point releases, helped by the npm-based Talk dependency. Nothing in the entries points to the next major desktop feature.
