LobeChat vs Spinach: at a glance
What is LobeChat?
LobeHub canary.3 adds Projects with a lead agent, multi-file Canvas artifacts and Docs.
LobeHub's v2.2.21 canaries are rebuilding the app around Projects: canary.3's 204 commits add a project home with a coordinator composer, a tagged lead agent, members and libraries settings, and conversations and tasks that run inside a project. It also adds Canvas multi-file HTML artifacts, turns Resources into Docs, adds JWKS key rotation and a tasks API, and creates tables for agent mail and inbox. Several PR test builds followed with no notes.
What is Spinach?
Spinach's public feed is SEO comparison content, not product releases, so shipping signal is absent.
The crawled feed for Spinach is entirely content marketing: transcription-tool roundups, Gong-alternative listicles, and how-to integration guides, with no product release notes. On this evidence Spinach is investing in top-of-funnel SEO for the AI meeting-notetaker category rather than surfacing shipped changes.

◆ Current state

It also adds Canvas multi-file HTML artifacts, turns Resources into Docs, adds JWKS key rotation and a tasks API, and creates tables for agent mail and inbox. Several PR test builds followed with no notes.
◆ Where it's heading
After v2.2.20 made goals and device execution stable, the next cycle is about organizing multi-agent work: projects with a lead agent, per-agent topic grouping, and groundwork for agents to message each other. The OpenAPI tasks endpoint and native-app OAuth helpers point to LobeHub becoming a platform other apps can drive.
◆ Prediction
Expect v2.2.21 stable to ship Projects as the headline feature, with agent mail and inbox surfacing in a later canary.

5.0AI-ASSISTANTS
Spinach's public feed is SEO comparison content, not product releases, so shipping signal is absent.
◆ Current state
The crawled feed for Spinach is entirely content marketing: transcription-tool roundups, Gong-alternative listicles, and how-to integration guides, with no product release notes. On this evidence Spinach is investing in top-of-funnel SEO for the AI meeting-notetaker category rather than surfacing shipped changes.
◆ Where it's heading
The visible signal is a marketing motion, not a product one: heavy comparison and how-to content positioning Spinach against Gong and general notetakers, emphasizing action-item sync into Notion, Confluence, Monday, and Jira. Where the product itself is heading cannot be read from this feed.
◆ Prediction
There is insufficient product-release signal to predict a next move; the content cadence suggests continued SEO investment around meeting-intelligence and integration keywords, but that is a marketing bet, not a roadmap.
