Firefly III
Firefly III ships seven develop builds in six days, still with no changelog attached.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Ramp and Stigg — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Ramp is moving from spending your money to closing your books.
The dated releases show Ramp widening geographically and operationally: VAT-compliant reimbursement statements, local cards in Poland, Denmark and Sweden, USD cards for Canadian businesses, QuickBooks Online custom fields, plus intelligent AP forwarding and license intelligence across Okta, Entra and Chrome. The undated digest set carries the bigger story - Ramp Stack deploys agents that run reconciliations, journal entries, schedule roll forwards and variance analysis end to end, while the monthly recaps track AI token spend by provider, model and project and claim zero-touch accounts payable.
Stigg adds credit reservation and settlement for AI operations days after its agent SDK.
Stigg can now reserve credits before an AI operation starts and settle the actual cost when it finishes. It follows the beta Agent Governance SDK, an open-source library built on Stigg's entitlements engine. Earlier October releases added an Airwallex billing backend, credit usage grouped by feature and a Stripe Projects listing.

Two expansions are running at once and only one of them is obvious. Geography and card products broaden the business Ramp already has; the agent work changes what that business is, moving it from the card that records a transaction to the system that codes, accrues and reconciles it. February's real-time coding and the continuous ERP sync are the mechanism, and Ramp Stack is where it stops being assistance. License intelligence across identity providers shows the same instinct pointed at software spend - watch the system of record, then act on it.
Expect the close itself to become the product surface: with agents already owning journal entries and variance analysis, the natural next claim is a continuously closed period rather than a monthly one, with ERP integrations deepening to support it.

Credits have become Stigg's main pricing unit, and the product is adapting them to AI workloads whose cost isn't known up front. Reserve and settle, together with the governance SDK, turns the entitlements engine into a spending control for agents.
Expect the governance SDK to use reservations directly for agent limits, and more reporting on reserved versus settled usage.
