API documentation platform and OpenAPI tooling for developer portals

Redocly's reunite.agent gets per-duty cron schedules, rules and source repos.

api documentationdocs agentsdeveloper portalscimapi diff
◆Current state
Redocly shipped three Reunite releases and a config release on Oct 28. The feedback and discovery duties in reunite.agent can now each run on their own UTC cron trigger, follow their own rules and read only listed source repositories. SCIM provisioning now accepts identity-provider groups of any size, where pushes over 1,000 members used to fail. @redocly/config 0.69.0 also adds per-rule impact settings for the experimental diff command.
◆Where it's heading
Two threads run together: an agent inside Reunite that does recurring docs work (feedback and discovery) and is gaining scheduling and scoping controls, and enterprise plumbing such as SCIM scale, Git token rotation and permission fixes. Last week's configurable docs MCP server points the same way, with Redocly adding AI surfaces and making them configurable in redocly.yaml.
◆Prediction
Expect more reunite.agent duty types or options in @redocly/config, and the experimental diff command moving toward a documented API-change check.

    Platform v2026-10-28.2

    SCIM provisioning now accepts identity-provider groups over 1,000 members, which removes a blocker for large enterprise rollouts. The release also fixes duplicate sources in AI assistant answers and API monitoring defaults.

    @redocly/config 0.69.0

    Config 0.69.0 lets each reunite.agent duty follow its own rules and source repositories, and adds per-rule impact keys for the experimental diff command across OpenAPI 3.0 to 3.2 and AsyncAPI 3. Both add controls for features that are still taking shape.

    Reunite adds Git token rotation for GitLab, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket

    Organization owners can share a GitLab, Azure DevOps or Bitbucket token with the organization so API keys can rotate it. It also fixes API key and OAuth2 client edits that wiped allowed IPs, part of the week's run of access fixes in Reunite.

    Docs MCP server gets name, ignore and public endpoint options

    Config 0.68.0 adds mcp.name, mcp.ignore and mcp.publicEndpoint and deprecates the mcp.docs object, so teams can name their docs MCP server, exclude content and choose a public endpoint. It continues the MCP-URL page-action work from earlier in the month.
