What is Designhill?
Designhill's feed is its design blog — logo and branding listicles, no product releases visible.
The crawled entries are Designhill's content-marketing blog, not a product changelog: recent posts cover logo design, branding trends, seasonal marketing, and AI-versus-designer debates. No shipped product change appears in this feed. The visible signal is editorial — a steady SEO content engine aimed at small businesses and founders needing brand and design assets.
What is Octopus.do?
Octopus.do adds an activity feed and email digests, filling in the team layer around its agent apps.
Octopus.do is a sitemap and content-planning tool that became agent-operable in August through official ChatGPT and Claude apps, an MCP server, and a public REST API. September has been about teams: project templates, Google Analytics data on the sitemap, a workspace-level shared symbol library on the Team plan, and now an Activity page that lists comments and changes across a user's projects, with email delivery at a chosen pace.
Designhill vs Octopus.do: editorial side-by-side
Designhill
5.0DESIGN
Designhill's feed is its design blog — logo and branding listicles, no product releases visible.
◆ Current state
The crawled entries are Designhill's content-marketing blog, not a product changelog: recent posts cover logo design, branding trends, seasonal marketing, and AI-versus-designer debates. No shipped product change appears in this feed. The visible signal is editorial — a steady SEO content engine aimed at small businesses and founders needing brand and design assets.
◆ Where it's heading
As content, the blog repeatedly touches AI logo/image generation and mobile-first design, hinting at where Designhill positions its tooling, but product trajectory is not readable from these posts. The crawl points at the blog rather than a release log.
◆ Prediction
Expect more seasonal and AI-design content. Product direction cannot be predicted from this marketing feed.
Octopus.do
5.0DESIGN
Octopus.do adds an activity feed and email digests, filling in the team layer around its agent apps.
◆ Current state
Octopus.do is a sitemap and content-planning tool that became agent-operable in August through official ChatGPT and Claude apps, an MCP server, and a public REST API. September has been about teams: project templates, Google Analytics data on the sitemap, a workspace-level shared symbol library on the Team plan, and now an Activity page that lists comments and changes across a user's projects, with email delivery at a chosen pace.
◆ Where it's heading
Two tracks run in parallel. The agent interface makes the sitemap something an assistant can build or edit directly; the collaboration features (roles, shared symbols, templates, activity) make the workspace the place a team's site planning lives. Four releases in September against one every month or two earlier in the year shows the pace picking up, and most of the new surface is aimed at multi-person, multi-project accounts.
◆ Prediction
The next releases likely keep extending workspace-level features, with more of them gated to the Team plan as the symbol library was. Whether agent-made changes will surface in the new activity feed is not stated in the entries.
