Where detail does surface it is narrow and specific: v5.5.5 introduced CONFIG_SPIRAM_ENC_EXEMPT with a MALLOC_CAP_SPIRAM_NO_ENC capability for carving an unencrypted PSRAM region, and v5.2.7 changed OpenThread examples to require an ot prefix on CLI commands.

ROS 2's release feed announces binary packages and tells you almost nothing else.

ROS 2 is the robotics middleware, and this feed is a package-distribution channel rather than a changelog. That list has not changed between beta1 and rc1, which suggests the 6.1 scope is settled.

The visible pattern is distribution lifecycle management, not feature work. Lyrical Luth released in May 2026 on Ubuntu 26.04 and RHEL 10 and has since taken two patch releases; Jazzy continues receiving patches but has dropped Windows binaries under the platform EOL policy now that Windows 10 is end-of-life. Rolling rebuilds nightly whenever jobs have not failed.
