What is Huginn?

Huginn moves to Ruby 4.0.9 for a regex memory-corruption fix and adds a localized web UI.

Huginn v2026.10.24 upgrades to Ruby 4.0.9, which fixes memory corruption when compiling attacker-controlled regular expressions, and the official Docker images follow. The web interface can now be set to other languages with the LOCALE variable, using a translation gem. The bundled MySQL moves to 8.4.13, and Docker latest tags now update only after release specs pass.

What is Redocly?

Redocly's reunite.agent gets per-duty cron schedules, rules and source repos.

Redocly shipped three Reunite releases and a config release on Oct 28. The feedback and discovery duties in reunite.agent can now each run on their own UTC cron trigger, follow their own rules and read only listed source repositories. SCIM provisioning now accepts identity-provider groups of any size, where pushes over 1,000 members used to fail. @redocly/config 0.69.0 also adds per-rule impact settings for the experimental diff command.

◆ Current state

Huginn v2026.10.24 upgrades to Ruby 4.0.9, which fixes memory corruption when compiling attacker-controlled regular expressions, and the official Docker images follow. The web interface can now be set to other languages with the LOCALE variable, using a translation gem. The bundled MySQL moves to 8.4.13, and Docker latest tags now update only after release specs pass.

◆ Where it's heading

Since its revival in August, Huginn has shipped security fixes first, then reliability and deployment cleanup. This release is the first to add something user-facing beyond that, a localized interface, while the runtime keeps getting pulled forward.

◆ Prediction

Expect translation gems for specific languages to appear and the roughly two-week release rhythm to continue with dependency and Docker upkeep.

Redocly's reunite.agent gets per-duty cron schedules, rules and source repos.

◆ Current state

Redocly shipped three Reunite releases and a config release on Oct 28. The feedback and discovery duties in reunite.agent can now each run on their own UTC cron trigger, follow their own rules and read only listed source repositories. SCIM provisioning now accepts identity-provider groups of any size, where pushes over 1,000 members used to fail. @redocly/config 0.69.0 also adds per-rule impact settings for the experimental diff command.

◆ Where it's heading

Two threads run together: an agent inside Reunite that does recurring docs work (feedback and discovery) and is gaining scheduling and scoping controls, and enterprise plumbing such as SCIM scale, Git token rotation and permission fixes. Last week's configurable docs MCP server points the same way, with Redocly adding AI surfaces and making them configurable in redocly.yaml.

◆ Prediction

Expect more reunite.agent duty types or options in @redocly/config, and the experimental diff command moving toward a documented API-change check.
