Both arcs point at the same thing, moving work that used to require an external tool or a support ticket into the product.

Variant support looks set to roll out from Wix to the remaining store integrations, and the Simple Editor's feature gap with the drag-and-drop builders should keep narrowing.

Feature gating is doing real work now: Custom Code and similar capabilities are tied to license entitlements, with migrations backfilling existing self-hosted records.
