nat.templatebrains handles registration between template brain spaces — xform_brain(), mirror_brain(), and the bridging-registration graph that finds a path from one template to another. Since 0.8 transformed objects carry a regtemplate attribute recording their space, so downstream natverse functions can usually infer it rather than being told.
