Twake Drive's second 1.108 beta makes OnlyOffice PDF editing opt-in and adds picker views.

◆Current state
Twake Drive ships beta releases every few weeks. 1.108.0-beta.1 was its largest in months, adding nested sharing, in-app invitations, a rebuilt move dialog, an optional AI writing assistant, OnlyOffice PDF opening and Twake Space embedding. beta.2 adds list and grid views to the file picker, opens PDFs in the standard viewer by default with OnlyOffice editing only when enabled, limits the writing assistant's ready message to Drive, and fixes shared-drive invitation declines.
◆Where it's heading
The file picker work of the summer now shows up inside Drive and for connected apps. With Twake Space embedding and an AI assistant behind flags, Drive is becoming one component of a broader workspace suite; beta.2 pulling back the OnlyOffice PDF default shows the team tuning those additions before a stable release.
◆Prediction
Expect further 1.108 betas fixing sharing and picker details before a stable 1.108; the entries don't show when the AI assistant will be enabled by default.

    The follow-up beta refines what beta.1 introduced: the file picker gains list and grid views, PDFs return to the standard viewer by default with OnlyOffice editing opt-in, and declining a shared-drive invitation now fully removes it. It is tuning before 1.108 goes stable rather than new direction.

    The biggest beta in months turns the picker work into product: the move dialog runs on the file picker, connected apps can constrain selection, and sharing gains nested folders and in-app invitations. The optional AI writing assistant and Twake Space embedding show Drive being folded into a larger workspace suite.
