Salesmsg vs SMTP2GO: at a glance
What is Salesmsg?
Salesmsg Reviews can now trigger follow-ups automatically based on a customer's latest rating.
Salesmsg upgraded Reviews: follow-ups can fire automatically based on a customer's most recent rating, reviewers can be messaged in bulk or answered directly from review analytics, and results can be exported. It follows an official MCP server listed with Claude and ChatGPT, call tracking and AI call scorecards, and recurring NPS surveys that enrol contacts in automations.
What is SMTP2GO?
Deliverability blogging with one real API release buried in the run
Most of the feed is deliverability education and comparison content: a scan-to-email setup and troubleshooting guide, a third-party ranking from EmailToolTester, a tested top five of transactional email services, a spam-avoidance playbook, and a definitional piece on transactional email. The exception is June's API release, which added scheduled sending, throughput improvements and more efficient large-batch sending.

◆ Current state
Salesmsg upgraded Reviews: follow-ups can fire automatically based on a customer's most recent rating, reviewers can be messaged in bulk or answered directly from review analytics, and results can be exported. It follows an official MCP server listed with Claude and ChatGPT, call tracking and AI call scorecards, and recurring NPS surveys that enrol contacts in automations.
◆ Where it's heading
Salesmsg is connecting feedback (surveys, NPS, reviews) to its texting and calling automations, so a customer's score decides what happens next. Alongside that, AI agents for calls and texts and the MCP server extend who, or what, can act on those conversations.
◆ Prediction
Expect review and survey scores to feed the AI texting and calling agents directly, and more CRM sync for review data.

Deliverability blogging with one real API release buried in the run
◆ Current state
Most of the feed is deliverability education and comparison content: a scan-to-email setup and troubleshooting guide, a third-party ranking from EmailToolTester, a tested top five of transactional email services, a spam-avoidance playbook, and a definitional piece on transactional email. The exception is June's API release, which added scheduled sending, throughput improvements and more efficient large-batch sending.
◆ Where it's heading
SMTP2GO's product signal arrives roughly once a quarter and always concerns the sending path — scheduling, throughput, batch efficiency — aimed at high-volume senders rather than at the dashboard. Everything between those releases is search-oriented content built around deliverability anxiety, plus independent ranking results used as proof.
◆ Prediction
On the pattern of the June release, further API work on sending at scale is the most likely next product entry; the intervening posts will stay educational.
