What is AnnounceKit?
AnnounceKit is growing past release notes — an MCP server, now help docs beside the changelog.
Releases are infrequent — roughly one every two to three months — but the last two changed what the product is rather than how it looks. July brought an MCP server exposing drafting, publishing, scheduling, feature-request replies and roadmap management to any connected agent; August opened a Knowledge Base beta placing help documentation next to the changelog. The earlier entries in the window are widget and layout redesigns.
What is Swello?
Swello's comment and DM inbox is in beta as content marketing fills the feed.
Swello is a French social media scheduling tool whose changelog mixes product releases with marketing. The newest entry announces its 2027 Social Media Calendar of more than 450 dates in PDF, .ics and print, after a podcast episode and a webinar replay earlier in October. The last product release added 3:4 Instagram posts and CSV export of posts, and confirmed the comment and DM inbox is in beta.

AnnounceKit
3.8MARKETING
AnnounceKit is growing past release notes — an MCP server, now help docs beside the changelog.
◆ Current state
Releases are infrequent — roughly one every two to three months — but the last two changed what the product is rather than how it looks. July brought an MCP server exposing drafting, publishing, scheduling, feature-request replies and roadmap management to any connected agent; August opened a Knowledge Base beta placing help documentation next to the changelog. The earlier entries in the window are widget and layout redesigns.
◆ Where it's heading
The arc runs from presentation work to structural expansion on two axes at once: what content AnnounceKit holds, and who operates it. Documentation makes it a broader customer-communications surface rather than a changelog widget, while the MCP server makes every publishing action callable by an assistant. Both moves reduce the reasons a customer would keep a separate tool alongside it.
◆ Prediction
Expect the Knowledge Base to leave beta with the widget and layout treatment the changelog already received, and the MCP surface to extend to the new documentation content.
Swello
5.0MARKETING
Swello's comment and DM inbox is in beta as content marketing fills the feed.
◆ Current state
Swello is a French social media scheduling tool whose changelog mixes product releases with marketing.
◆ Where it's heading
Swello is building toward team and agency workflows: post approval, then comments on drafts, then CSV export for reporting, with some features reserved for the Large plan. The unified inbox in beta moves it from publishing into engagement management, while the changelog doubles as a channel for its podcast, webinars and guides.
◆ Prediction
The likeliest next release is the inbox leaving beta. The AI features mentioned in September have not shipped, and the entries give no timing for them.
